Astrid & Lance's Wedding

On May 30th, our neighbors, Astrid and Lance got married at their home. Henry took the photos of their wedding. The weather was great and the ceremony very elegant in front of their pool. Even though you might not know the couple, you will likely enjoy the photos of their wedding.

Lake Mary Shred-a-thon

In January, the Elder Affairs Commission sponsored a Shred-a-thon to help fight identity theft. This was the third and most successful one to date. Over 400 cars and almost 16 tons of paper were shredded. As a bonus, funds were raised for the Lake Mary Senior Center that support instruction and equipment at the Senior Center. Christmas was celebrated with our "family" from Canada. We enjoyed three days together which was highlights by a gift exchange. Henry received three "Singing Moose." These are quite a show - integrated by audio signals they sing together and then solo and of course you can't sing unless your mouth moves! Billy Ray Cyrus at Disney

Sam and I attended a function at Disney in early December and were lucky enough to have up close and personal "seats" for a taping of Bill Ray Cyrus. His feature song will be part of the Regis and Kelly Christmas Show at Disney on Christmas morning. We were so close, we might even be seen on TV! Watch for us on Christmas morning on ABC!

Thanksgiving at "Sam" and Henry's

Mom and Paul joined her sister Betty and husband Tony, and Rolf and Lucy for an enjoyable Thanksgiving day and meal. "Sam" did her usual extrordinary gourmet feast. Only the "turkey" was not happy - no I'm not referring to Uncle Tony! Enjoy the photos by clicking on:

The AAA Corporate Affairs Team spent a day at Second Harvest Food Bank packing food boxes for those less fortunate. We all worked hard and had lots of fun too. We packed over 20 pallets of food boxes, with over 800 special boxes with Thanksgiving Meals. Click on the following link to view the photos:

In early November, our good friends from Wyoming, Neil and Mary, visited with Sam and I. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in Mt. Scarfo Family Reunion

In October, Henry and Sam attended a family reunion. This was not like any family get together because Henry was meeting first cousins and family for the first time in almost 50 years!
